There are two family suites, on which we don't get a discount, and I don't know the rate. There's a bunk bed (twin on top, full on bottom) in one room, and a "parents bed" in another. If you want one of those, don't wait. (Mention the conference in case they do feel like discounting it later, maybe.)
The basic conference room, at our discount, has two queen beds for $89 plus taxes.
Each room comes with four waterpark passes. (up to four)
Additional passes are usually $19.95, but we have a conference special of $10 per day for additional passes, either for families of more than five (extra family members) or local families who are registered for the conference but not staying in the hotel.
I made our room reservations today and have some info that might be helpful:
ReplyDelete~ When you call the main number, ask for In-House Reservations.
~ I requested 2 adjoining rooms. They said they can make a note of the request, but cannot guarantee we'll have adjoining rooms. I imagine we'll have better luck getting that request met if we check in early Thursday afternoon!
~ For those who want to budget the lodging expense ahead of time, it's my understanding the room tax is 6.88% + a state occupancy charge of $4.00 per room daily.

ReplyDeleteLocals who are commuting can get a discounted water pass without renting the room. I'm not sure exactly how that will work, yet.
